This server was opened when Novalogic turned SpecOps EU 4 into n00b settings server with tracers and friendly fire off. When Novalogic changed settings back to normal, people returned to SpecOps (now called SpecOps Reloaded). SpecOps Legacy is backup server in case Novalogic will cripple SpecOps server anytime in the future again.
Yeah, that was a good day. If we could always join the server in 4-6 players willing to stay in the game, people would be joining and wouldn't be leaving so there would be quickly 20 players or more. Unfortunately there are 2 possibilities: 1) Novalogic will turn on SpecOps EU Reloaded and everyone will play there. 2) Novalogic will not turn SOR on but everyone will go and play on n00b setting shit server EU Apple Bowl just because it is on the first place. Now SpecOps Legacy is so deep on the lobby page because of many IC servers that it is difficult to find for anybody who doesn't know what he is looking for.
yeah man, i tried getting some people to join by starting the server a few months ago and I was able to get about 13. Kinda pisses me off too. btw whats your gt?
That is correct, server is down from this Tuesday. We were getting new faster network connection and there was a service disruption. When this happens server disappears from Nova lobby. To connect back I have to shut it down, select maps and connect to Nova again. Because it takes a lot of time to add maps one by one (Wolfrat map file won't add some maps for some reason) it waits on me to have time to do it. It won't be before this Friday afternoon.
Was on this server today and not many ppl seemed to join;/? where is everyone?

ReplyDeleteIf you have a squad, we can set up some time when we could regularly meet on the server to play for a while (Saturday evenings).

ReplyDeleteSure Ambush. I removed Mortars once when they were overused on small TDM map which was quite unfair. I forgot to put them back later. I will fix it.
